The 4 of us had a lovely meal today it was tasty well presented and great service from George and the rest of the staff. Very friendly and a bit of good banter made us feel welcome. We will definately return...if you like a good atmosphere and good food go on fill your boots you will be made very welcome.

My friend and I had lunch on Saturday, we were served firstly by Janice who was really welcoming. Our main course of scampi was very tasty, although the cheesecake was really unpleasant, we both left it uneaten, I was charged for it, which really surprised me.
The room was quite cold, although I was impressed by the friendly staff.
Dropped in for a few pints the evening of 16th Feb 23 and it was the best atmosphere around, the heating was on and it was cosy, the barmaid was very professional and knew exactly when I needed a re fill of Guinness, which is ideal.
I intend to go back tonight again.
The Landlord George always says hello when he is in.
It is what it is a local friendly pub with hearty food. Steak pie,fish and chips excellent for the price and great service. I have been a few times and definitely go back. Great place to go for a chilled munch at any time.
