Iv got to be honest.. this chippy has the best chips sround our town.and you can buy lots of fish, not judt cod n haddock. Everytime i walk in to this chippy. The owner says Hello there how you doing. N his staff our lovely lasses down to earth. Well done green lane chippy
Pleasant staff and a good loojing chippy. Unfortunately the batter on the fish was soggy & the chips were tasteless and greasy. Didn't ask for bits but was given a boat-load. Maybe just an off-day and the oil hadn't been heated enough.

First time I’ve been and it will be the last, two small fillets asked for large cod.
Fillets batter was soft and stodgy, threw half in the bin - £8.80 wasted
Have visited this fisheries a number of occasions and would like to say it is the loveliest food I have tasted in a very long time. All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the fish. Would score a massive 10/10 every time ????

I have been going here for years and the quality of the fish is second to none and they are always willing to travel and find the best fish, Unfortunately the chips are absolute disgusting.
I will still give you a 5 star but you need to something about your chips !!
Quite possibly the best chippy I’ve ever been to! The staff working here are wonderful, funny and so genuine. Then there’s the food.. outstanding! Good portions, great selection of fish (not just Cod or Haddock...) and all this set in one of the most traditional chippies I’ve ever been to. It really is a gem. Long may their business thrive.
